Mikaela Michaelidou

Public Relations Officer

Mikaela Michaelidou holds a bachelor’s degree in Turkish and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Cyprus, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from the European University Cyprus. She has completed an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Middle East and Protocol Departments.

She has been a member of the organization since 2020, participating in various activities of CYD and representing the organization at pan-European conferences such as the European Youth Event in Strasbourg and the Together.eu Leadership Academy in Brussels. Additionally, she is Representative at the Parliamentary Committee on European and Foreign Affairs of the 6th Youth Parliament in Cyprus.

She is active in various organizations both in Cyprus and abroad, aiming to amplify the voice of youth and their participation in society. Simultaneously, she holds roles in pan-European programs, such as Youth Ambassador for the EU Youth Dialogue, and in programs that promote youth participation in the upcoming European elections.

Her goal is to enhance youth participation in diplomacy and policy-making processes.
